Overview / History
Welcome to Bell Manor Elementary!
- Our school uses the Ron Clark Academy House System -- "Four houses, one family." On Fridays, students wear their house colors, representing Reveur, Amistad, Isibindi, and Altruismo.
- In the library we have an exploratorium -- each grading period, it features a new theme, allowing students to explore topics connected to that thematic area.
- And of course, there's Baxter -- HEB ISD's first comfort dog, dedicated to supporting the students and staff of Bell Manor Elementary.
There are so many fun programs for our Bobcats to discover: reading buddies, STEP Team, Leaders of Tomorrow club, Whiz Quiz, CHAMPS Leaders, Art Club, Engineering Club (lead by a IB student from THS), Barbara Bush Read Squad, Glow-Up parties, and more!

Past & Future
Bell Manor Elementary originally opened in August of 1969. Bell Manor and other HEB ISD elementary schools of the same era feature a quirky campus design that earned the nickname "spaceship schools."
In November 2023, HEB ISD voters approved a bond that includes plans to build a brand new Bell Manor Elementary campus. In a few short years, we'll be moving into our new home at the corner of Pipeline and Raider Drive (the present location of KEYS High School / FEW Center)!
